Program 1: Introduction to the book written by Stephen Mangion based on the pilgrimage walk to Santiago de Compostela in Spain.
Program 2: The protagonist, James, prepare for and set off on his pilgrimage on the Camino to Santiago de Compostela.
Program 3: Maria too sets off on this adventure into the unknown, the Camino to Santiago de Compostela.
Program 4: At Logronio Maria come across the La Tuna singers. James too will meet this group which will eventually link our two peregrinos.
Program 5: James meets this Maltese lady called Maria Mallen. For both of them the Camino will turn out very differently to what they expected.
Program 6: We follow James and Maria as their walk proceeds through quaint villages and grand cities while their love blooms.
Program 7: James and Maria proceed on the Camino. They meet 2 Brazilian Ladies and the conversation naturally centres on the Brazilian Carnival.
Program 8: James is aware of the joy Maria had brought to his life but guilt feelings haunt him. The two take a room at the grand Parador Hotel, in Leon.
Program 9: In this episode the author describes some of the works by Spain’s great architect Gaudi.
Program 10: While we learn about the Knight Templars and the Bierzo region, we also find out that Maria feels confident enough to tell James of her mother’s tragic death. James is speechless.
Program 11: James confesses his crime to the woman he loves, the mood is set by Albinoni’s Adagio - tragedy strikes once more.
Program 12: Human beings are imperfect, capable both of good and bad. Will Maria understand and forgive?.
Program 13: Maria decides to forgive but can she live with this man for the rest of her life? Towards a new beginning...
